This is a trend I’ve been wearing a lot this winter: a chunky coat with pants. Although I love the match between an oversized coat and skinny pants, what I love even more is such a coat worn with baggy pants. Heels make the combo well-balanced, while oxfords make for a great masculine look. Bright pops of color – on a bag, a sweater, or even on the actual pants and coat – make winter more bearable. Another plus is that you can wear as many layers as you want under a chunky coat, without looking bulky. What do you think, yay or nay?
