DIY sequin headband
Ready for New Year’s Eve? Do you have the obligatory sequins ready? If not, there’s still time to DIY a chic accessory for the big party: an easy sequin headband.
What you need:
- plastic headband
- ribbon
- sequins
- glue
- thread and needle
- scissors
First of all, I cut two pieces of black ribbon and stitched each one on the wrong side of the fabric. The approximate size is that of a bracelet. I overlapped them and stitched a smaller piece of ribbon at the middle, creating a double bow.
Then I stitched gold sequins at random. You can also glue them – it takes less time. Finally, I glued the bow to the side of the headband. I tried the glue pictured above at first, but it wouldn’t hold – just go for strong, permanent glue. The glamour is on!

Really cute and so easy – just what I and my readers like. Posted finished photo and a link back to you on truebluemeandyou.
As always – thanks a bunch!
