The hens are out to get you
Sometimes, after all the “I have nothing to wear”, I realize that I have a bunch of items I forgot about, which I’ve worn close to zero times. Like this light blue shirt that I got in a clothing exchange – I took it with me on a trip to Bucharest in May and haven’t worn it since. I felt that the gingham and the knot were very “countryside”, so I finally got to wearing this hens and rooster necklace that I made a hundred years ago. And I remembered these shoes, too – I got them in college, and at the time they were my fanciest pair of shoes. Now they’re just a tad higher than flats, but almost as uncomfortable as heels, so I rarely wear them anymore. Plus, the straw yellow suede didn’t wear off very nicely.

Very beautiful outfit !
I adore the blue gingham! It’s one of my favorite prints for summer.
Love your vintage style!
