Top 3 blogger hair makeovers

Today I cut my hair – nothing radical, don’t worry about it, just my usual bob. But deep down inside, I wanted to cut it real short. I only did that once, out of impulse, in the summer of 2010, and I couldn’t get back to it since. I just hate that stupid intermediate length! But, while I’m not going for any spectacular makeovers on myself, I do like to see what other bloggers are doing. And here are my top three faves, with before and after pics.

1. Rebecca of The Clothes Horse

She went from long, red locks and bangs last year, through a shoulder length that was quickly followed by a pixie cut. Getting such a short cut makes you want to dress more femininely, and that is one style that looks wonderful on Rebecca. Her face features are so much more visible – eyebrows included – and hair accessories do her justice.

2. Andreea of Thrill of the Heel

I was amazed to see her long hair go sometimes last year, but I liked the new do instantly. She went from girly to sophisticated just like that, and, although the changes in her style were gradual, she seems to be truly owning it right now.

3. Kelly of The Glamourai

The famous Glamourai had many a makeovers in her long blogging career, most of which included hair dyeing. However, it’s been interesting to see her let go of her signature cropped coif in favor of a messy chin-length hairdo. She got rid of her bangs, too.
