Vaudeville & Burlesque, SS12 Lookbook
Vaudeville & Burlesque is a British label founded in 1997, with little information available online. They describe their garments as playful and feminine, with visible vintage inspiration and modern twists. Think unexpected cutouts, delicate prints and a general state of romanticism. I found them through the amazingly talented photographer Miriam Sitchinava, who shot their SS12 lookbook. The pictures are gorgeous – my favorite one is the one right above. You can shop the collection on Urban Outfitters by the way, as they don’t yet have a shop on the Vaudeville & Burlesque website.
