It’s in the watermelon, baby
Between melon and watermelon, I’ve always been a melon kind of girl. However, I acknowledge that it’s not really summer until I eat my fair share of watermelon. I’ve started liking it more this year and I even experimented with blending it into a super-refreshing juice. And speaking of watermelon, check out this series that my boyfriend started last year, with vendors from across the city. They were all so happy to be photographed, that they repaid us in watermelon – we had a full fridge last summer!
As for my outfit, I was looking forward to wearing this cool new necklace from Oasap. I usually pick clothes over jewelry, but this necklace was the exception. I think I’ll be wearing it a lot over collared shirts, because a statement necklace was really missing from my wardrobe.

I used to love melon (cantaloupe) more when I was a kid, too. I think mostly because I was afraid of accidentally swallowing watermelon seeds :)). Anyways, it’s true, it doesn’t feel like summer until you eat lots and lots of watermelon!.
