109: Physical education
109 is the concept of Ioana Dumitrescu and Marina Moldovan, two Romanian designers with a taste for the strange – “we love nonsense, but we do our work”. Their latest collection, for spring summer 2012, is called “Physical education”, and you’ll know exactly why when you see the look book. Plenty of crisp shirts are paired with jersey and polka dot tulle, in interesting combos that stay with you even after the browser tab is closed. Although minimalism is not really something in my wardrobe, I do love the way these outfits look.
