Signs and windows
So what’s the thing with foreign countries? They make common things look so interesting! Every shop window is interesting to look at in Porto, even if they sell school books, souvenirs or cola. Every shop sign has a charming font that you want to photograph. Even more interesting when you have no idea what the sign says!
This is a collection of signs&windows from Porto, pictures I took this past week. Lots of pics in this post, and have in mind that these are just part of the total amount :)
Cough candy in cool retro packaging

The things in this shop are handmade, I presume

Best McD ever: several shoe-shiners in the front, ‘imperial’ design inside. Note: when McFlurry meets Magnum, things can’t get any better

Casa da Musica
I looked at this one for 5 minutes and lmao-ed. Watching her clean her fat tummy on her colorful chair was awesome.

aaaah yes I so agree! I love the “alien” feel you get when you aren’t familiar with a place, really opens your eyes for small particularities :)
I think we americans could use a bit more of that culture added to everyday things. It shows that they care.
